Training and Camp - Opleiding en Kamp

 Die Opleidingsiklus

Basies:

The Training Cycle

Junior Leader Formative:

This phase is a continuation of the basic training phase. The emphasis of the training is changed from purely instructional, to a more advanced look at how to instruct. The first objective is to develop the mental, physical and spiritual abilities of every student. The student is secondly equipped with the necessary knowledge and abilities needed in advanced training.

Finally, the foundation is built for the formative training of the student so that he can comply with the profile of a junior leader.

After the completion of this phase, the student is promoted from recruit to rifleman. He may then wear the affiliation dress of the Infantry School.

Platoon Commanders Conventional:

During this phase the students learn how to carry out the duties of a platoon commander or platoon sergeant in conventional warfare.
